ANNOUNCING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MARY ELLEN SMITH MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT FUND
The CSA Board of Directors recently voted to utilize a
portion of the CSA’s account balance to create an
endowment fund to provide ongoing support of the CSA’s
mission and purpose of supporting clergy spouses and
their families. The decision to honor our beloved Mary
Ellen Smith by naming the fund in her memory was
indeed a God-given gift of inspiration. The establishment
of this fund and its growth will impact the CSA’s ability to
fulfill outreach needs in our community and beyond.
A portion of the offering from the 2018 Convention Holy
Eucharist with Bishop Curry will be designated to the
newly established MES Memorial Endowment Fund.

Guest Speaker Christa Hernandez founded Loving You Where You Are At
in October 2012 envisioning a survivor led
outreach to women in the commercial sex industry.
Christa recently received a proclamation from the Pinellas
County Board of Commissioners for her work with
Loving You Where You Are At.
Loving You Where You Are At currently visits 11 strip
clubs across the Tampa Bay area and 3 brothels every
month to spread the message they are Loved, Valued, and
Purposed. LYWYAA recently launched two drop-in-centers
for the women they reach. Christa is passionate about
making known the issues surrounding sex trafficking,
sexual exploitation, and sexual abuse as well as sharing the
hope she found in Jesus to overcome!
Loving You Where You Are At exists to equip and
encourage others by loving them right where they are, as
they are. We are a faith-based, survivor-led outreach and
support group for women in or affected by the
commercial sex industry. Our mission is to:
(REACH) by going into the Strip Clubs and building
intentional relationships with no strings attached
(RESTORE) We offer hope by allowing Jesus to shine
through us and begin emotional and spiritual restoration.
(EQUIP) We offer transitional assistance to help with
both tangible and intangible needs.
